sTEFAN ANASTASIU (n.1950)
Graduate of the Plastic Arts Institute of Bucharest, stefan Anastasiu successfully made his debut with the satirical film Trei pilule greu de îng 19319o145t hitit / Three pills hard to swallow, at the same time with Zoltan Szilagyi, 1979, promissing to become a serious opponent of his. However, he only made one more film at the "Animafilm" Studio, Raport / Report, an ingenious SF, after which he found himself among those leaving the country in the early 1980's.
He established himself in Canada, where he managed to distinguish himself as a skillful animator, drawer and book illustrator. In the National Film Board of Canada, he was counselor, set and costume designer for other directors' films and author of a few interesting films and serials, such as Write Around the World. He taught animation classes at the Concordia Council.
