Planned Completion Date: May, 2008 (first stage)

Starting with 2007, in Sinesti (Romania) started a Monsanto Seed Plant. We'll collect seed samples from each processing stage in order to build a database regarding the seed quality. A detailed analysis will most likely reveal the process steps that have a negative impact on the quality of the processed corn. During the FY08 season we'll focus on those areas in the plant where the data shows that we can improve the seed quality.

Projected Business Benefits (include customer/supplier impact): In FY08 we'll be able to run some numbers.

Goal/Objective: The goals are to build a database with the seed quality from each seed processing stage, to identify the processing stages where the seed quality decrease and to find solutions for that processing stage in order to improve the seed quality.
