Add or Remove Programs helps you manage programs and components on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0. As y 19119b117t ou enable and disable the IIS protocols and services, you correspondingly increase and decrease the attack surface of the Web server.

To configure IIS components and services
In Control Panel, open Add or Remove Programs.
Click Add/Remove Windows Components.
On the Windows Components Wizard page, under Components, click Application Server, and then click Details.
Click Internet Information Services (IIS), and then click Details.
Enable or disable the appropriate IIS components and services by selecting the check box to add the component or clearing the check box to remove the component.
Complete the Windows Components Wizard by following the instructions in the wizard.
