Purpose: To ensure the commissioning work meets the Project objectives by conducting all necessary supervision of contractor's commissioning, development , preparation and execution work; monitoring Mechanical Completion and Pre-commissioning activities associated with onshore utilities scope. To provide the project management with an accurate assessment of the commissioning requirements and status to ensure subsequent decisions are well founded. |

Accountabilities and Responsibilities: To aid the Project achieve its objectives by: Ensuring necessary HSE reviews are undertaken and identified actions completed. Conducting design reviews for commissioning and start-up requirements. Attending F.A.T.'s, agreeing results and actions. Overseeing the preparation of all necessary Contractor's Commissioning Plans and Procedures. Overseeing all necessary commissioning preparation work (monitoring preservation, monitoring of mechanical completion and pre-commissioning activities, commissioning temporaries, etc). Advising on the acceptance of the formal Handover from contractors at Pre-commissioning completion stage. Preparing all commissioning planning and estimate documents in cooperation with Commissioning Group. Ensuring all necessary RoK Permits, Licenses and other Compliance requirements are in place prior to commencement of any commissioning activities. Overseeing contractor's commissioning and support to start-up scope. Ensuring acceptable Formal Handovers to Operator are prepared. Participating in and assisting with the co-ordination of the Project's performance test(s). Contributing to the Commissioning Group's improvement process and close-out report. |

Safety Responsibilities: Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment by following: Corporate Health, Safety & Environment Policy, and applying the company's Safety Management Systems. The Project's HSE Plan and training requirements. |

Company Stand in for Onshore Commissioning Superintendent as appropriate. Interface with EP Onshore/Offshore projects and Development division teams specialists. ExternalLiaising with the Project Management Services Contractor. Liaising with commissioning contractors, suppliers and consultants as required. Liaising with RoK Institutes, Approval Bodies and technical staff. |

Qualifications & Experience: The job holder must have: Minimum HNC, preferably degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Minimum 20 years industry experience. 5 years experience in senior technical role and management of contractor/supplier personnel. |

Required Competencies: The job holder must have proven: Professional competencies acquired in the commissioning of major O&G Projects worldwide. Good technical, communication and working skills. Proactive approach to decision making and team work. Proven management ability in a multi-interface and technically demanding Project. Ability to work with and coach Local staff. |
