Intro.

While traveling even further the whole conception of Sutemos net label is changing. To get you acquainted and to show you something up is not enough for us - our aim is to shock and surprise you. Although it is improper in the society to boast I will let myself say that Sutemos net label is getting rid of the its virtual features gradually and is releasing stuff that would almost fit the CD/LP format. The album of French producer Florin Fabien (aka 3tronik) called Mirror will another fast step to prove you that. I think that after list 414s1817e ening to the newest work of 3tronik you will agree that it is more than just a mp3 release and we are sincerely hoping that he won't show up on Sutemos (neither on any other net label) never again after Mirror. That is what we wish him.

3tronik.

Florin Fabien (3tronik) was the first member of Sutemos net label team and has released his debut work a href="player;gid,2 "target=_top>KOma Proj3ct</a>. This mini album (as every other release that followed it) received lots of good compliments and interest. But if you would take a glance from the point of the present perspectives you will understand that during the half year's period Florin has made a very big step forward. Mirror is a way more technical work. There aren't many changes in it but you will notice that Florin has made a good job in the direction of perfect quality. His music has taken harder and more confused form. But the most important thing in the album is that the musical outline of this promising artist is getting clearer and clearer. Nevertheless the musical spectrum of 3tronik still remains very wide (even eccentrical and unexpected at some points). That is how an irrational musical face of 3tronik is created. That is how Against Myself or Mood are born. That is how the history about Mirror is born.

Although in the mean time a tiny number of producers are compared to <a href="articles;gid,2 "target=_top>Autechre</a> - one of the pioneers of IDM - this is album is the one that reminds us about their rough and angled visions: Confield and a href="reviews;gid,094 "target=_top>Draft 7.30</a>. Yet Mirror is mostly common to a unique work of experimental electronica performed by Syndrone - <a href="reviews;gid,252 "target=_top>Salmataxia</a>. Except it is served in the manner of 3tronik. Such tracks as Revel, Dentolab, Verwirrung, Face To Face or an totally opposite Unclassical will sincerely shock you and surprise you.

Mirror.

As Florin tells himself"A "Mirror" is a reflective surface that is smooth enough to be able to form an image. The best known example is the plane mirror that most people have at home. In it, a parallel beam of light changes its direction as a whole, whilst still remaining parallel; the images formed by a plane mirror are virtual images, of the same size as the original object .There are also parabolic concave mirrors, where a parallel beam of light becomes a convergent beam, whose rays intersect in the focus of the mirror. Finally, there are convex mirrors, where a parallel beam becomes divergent, with the apparent intersection occurring behind the mirror. Note that spherical concave and convex mirrors do not have a single focal point, as often erroneously described in high school physics text books.

"Mirror" is my first album composed with a free and fresh spirit. For me its a destabilizing object like my music, I like this one. We never found and we will never find who we really are. But we can only speculate..."Mirror" represents the result of a long research task on the composition of the experimental music. On the other hand I am always faithful in a dark spirit with a music who disturbing. That gets me an enormous good emotion of cold. However, the coldness of this album will not be able to leave you indifferent (I really hope).

<b>Do you enjoy working together with Sutemos.net?</b>

Of course, I am very happy to have been able to release my firth one at Sutemos. I am also happy about comments and all support messages

that given lot of pleasure of seeing that some people appreciate my music.

<b>Are you satisfied with your debut release?</b>

Not really, one is never satisfied with his work, especially as an artist, you are posed lot of questions about yourself ...

<b>What did the people that are important to you or some publishers/labels say about the release? </b>

Some artists told me that they are interesting on my music, such as Funckarma, Mr. Projectile or a man of n5md team...

<b>What is the difference between koma proj3ct and Mirror?</b>

Well, an enormous difference in technical research of the sound. I worked in another way for precisely having a search more personal for my music. I had to make this album with a total independence of mind, certainly with my musical influences, but I try to have my originality and gradually to take along people in a direction which I even discover me.

<b>Are you feeling mature as a musician? (or did this happen earlier?)</b>

As I said before, I try to be myself in my compositions. I think of controlling the instruments and the machines to create my music, but that is not enough, I have to learn still much from the others and from myself. Maturity will come with time, moreover, it is necessary to have patience, it is a great virtue.

<b>What does Mirror mean for you? What is it? What has influence the moods of it? What is the vision and the concept of Mirror?</b>

I always assimilate the music as a therapy and a loophole (laugh). The mirror reflects your image and the music reflects your mind,  (that we really believes being). The reflectivity of the mirror depends on the way of looking at, just like the composition - that is an interpretation

<b>Is there any news about 7"? Funckarma's remix? What perspectives are there in your musical career?</b>

Eat this records is a little independent label. For the 7" (3tronik - etr13.4) I don't have any date release (I think for the end of this year).

<b>In which direction are planning to create?</b>

Personally I never plan anything. I let the things come...

What music has influence Mirror (I can hear Autechre and Syndrone. Anyone else?) </b>

Well... Lots of good artists as Autechre, Richard Devine, Felipe, Reinhold Heil & Johnny Klimek, Martinez and Ludwig van B. performed by Wendy Carlos sometimes...
