The movement of the section in a contaminated area

The movement of the section in a contaminated area

NBC protection and against the incendiares modes is a form of action and troops protection enssurance.

NBC protection and against the incendiares modes consist of methodes, plans and planned procedures, organisation and deployment in order to defend the forces in the military acts against enemy strike effects of the weapon of mass destruction, nuclear biological and chemical (ADMNBC) or/and emissions other than attack (EADA). To allow the forces a efficient action in NBC conditions/environment to accomplish the survival requirement and operational, to reduce the consequences of attack effects with ADMNBC and EADA and to provide th 20120r1721u e accomplishement of their missions.

EADA- NBC environment made up of radioactive risk resources, biological or chemical that don't implies a weapon of mass destruction nuclear, biological or chemical attack.

NBC conditions/environment- the threats determined by ADMNBC existing or employment on the battlefield and/or the risks of emission other than attack.

Signals used for warning ( Warning signals)

About aerial attack imminence

  • Noninterrupted hooter sound during one minute;
  • A sequence of bugle, whistle,horn interrupted sounds-3 sec signal, 1 sec break;
  • Voice "aerial attack".
  • A square , red pennant/panel;
  • The rising of arms lateral up and swinging the body lateral left-right;
  • The same with pennant/panel;

About the imminence or deployment of RBC contamination as a result  of ADMNBC use or the EADA events

  • Interrupted hooter sounds;
  • A sequence of interrupted horn, burgle sounds or knoking on metal or on other things (1 sec signal, 1 sec break);
  • Voice "gas, gas, gas" in the chemical or biological contamination;
  • Voice "rad, rad, rad" in the radioactive contamination.
  • A trigle black pennant/panel;
  • MCG in the "battle" position and taken protection measures;
  • By rising of the left arm up and swinging the forearm until touching the head.

The return to the warning signals transmitt former situation

  • A constant hooter sound during 1 min or noninterrupted horn or hooter sounds of blow instruments;
  • Voice "resquer"

The devastating factors of the nuclear explosion acts almost on the same time on both the staff and the battle tehnique harming, will have a combined character.

In this way, in the first seconds from the nuclear explosion the uncovered staff, in most cases, will be hurt as it fallow:

Wounds and traumas made up because the shock wave;

Burns because the light emission;

Illness of radiation because the penetrating radiations and radioactive contamination.

When the troops are located in localities, can suffer of burns because the incendiares or different traumas made by the buildings demolish.

The combinated character of the destructive factors acts, is less felt when the staff is hiden.

At the enemy preparing detection for using the nuclear weapon, the troops are prevented by the transmission of the one warning signal about the nuclear attack imminence. At the reception the fighter, in the same time with the accomlishement of the battle mission, prepare and pass the individual protection devices in the "STANDBY" position.

The staff on the battlefield surprised by a nuclear explosion can assure a partial or a total protection against the devastating factors if only they would act quicly and calm. The autoprotection time i sat the highest 2 sec.

The necessary acts on a nuclear attack

The operations order

In all situations when you see the light outbreak of the nuclear explosion or at the command "NUCLEAR EXPLOSION,FROM..DIRECTION" ( is indicated the direction) without delay act:

  1. In open ground:
    • Knock down with the face down and the feet in the explosion direction, pull near by your body your personal weapon and protect the face with the hands;
    • If there are closer bumps, use it, looking aut to protect most of your body;
    • Stay in the same position until you heard the noise of the explosion, after that, by yourself, take the protective mask (MCG).

2. Close to work defence and elements of toponomy

In the connecting trenches, knock down with the face down and pull near to you your personal weapon;

If closet o you is a part of covered trench, take cover facing body perpendicular on the direction of the explosion.

In the pits made up by the high explosive knock down with the facing perpendicular to the explosion, pull your weapon close to you and protect the face with the hands;

If you mov eon roads, knock down in a trench or closet o an autostone, facing your body as i tis protecte against the light emission;

On road with dashboard or embankment of railway, use the opposite part of the explosion as the dashboard to protect your body;

If near to you i tis a stumb, thick tree or a big stone, knock down with your head near their base as your body to be caught in the cone of shadow that appears on the light emission;

If you are in the shutting plce (position knock down), stay motionless, or change your position as you can be protected by the parapet;

If you are in the shutting place( to kneel or stand up) crouch you as your body to be under the ground level.

If close to you are isolated logs, protect your body hiden through them, and if there are pils of logs, hide you at their heads;

In all the situations after you hear the noise of explosion put the protective mask.

The equipments of individual protection NBC

During a long battle in the contaminate radioactive environments, it is used:

  • The protective mask and the equipment of individual protection when the staff is outside the shelter;
  • Only the equipment of protection when in the ai rit isn't radioactive dust (after rain and snowfall, on a damp weather);
  • Only the protective mask when the staff is in covered trenches(connecting trenches), and in the air exist radioactive dust;

The warning signals can be made of metal, wood, plastic and glueing materials, or other material that gather the neccesary conditions.

The colours of the warning signals

The nature of the contamination (distress) it is indicated by the colour of the warning signals as it fallows:

The first colour is used for the background area of the warning signals;

The second colour is used for marks or/and supplementary inscriptions, only one face of the warning signal.

This colours are:

In the situation of the distress determined by lands/mine chemical barrier, mine barrier and ammunition that didn't explode, the warning signals will have two colours and will be marked amd written as it fallows:

Fields/mine barrier and biological, chemical and radioactive contamination

In the situation of the distress determined by fields/mine barrier (other than chemical) and by chemical, biological radioactive contamination, the first colour, the second colour and the warning signal form will be the main elements of type reconnaissance of contamination (distress). As a mesure of a suplimentary precaution, are written the words "GAS-MINES" (for chemical fields/mine barrier), "ATOM" ( for the areas contaminated radioactive), "GAS" (fot the lands chemical contaminated), "BIO"(for the lands biological contamination). The inscription is realised papalel with the side with most size, as an examlpe:

NOPINBC means:

0 -logistic activities of transport, mentenance of the NBC individual protection equipments;(EPINBC)

1-EPINBC preparing and control;

2-EPINBC in "wait" position;

3- EPINBC in "fight" positon, less the protective gloves and ;

4-All EPINBC in "fight" position.
