THE
WORLD'S LEADING TRENCH DRAIN SYSTEM
ACO DRAIN is the ideal trench
drain system for commercial applications varying from gas stations to airports.
The ACO DRAIN system consists of pre-cast channels manufactured from either
corrosion resistant polymer concrete or fiberglass, together with grates from a
variety of materials for all 11511s185l loading uses. The system also includes catch
basins, closing end caps, outlet closing caps, locking systems, and other
accessories.
ACO DRAIN systems are available in 4", 8" and 12" internal widths,
and all systems are available with a built-in slope. 1. GENERAL PURPOSE SYSTEMS FOR ANY APPLICATIONS
K System
A general purpose, 4" internal width system with an aesthetic, integrally
cast-in steel wearing edge. A wide range of grates in different styles to
withstand different loadings are available. Grates are locked to the trench
unit by either the boltless locking "Quicklok" system or a locking
bolt and bar.
FG System
A lightweight, 4" and 8" internal width system with a steel grating
support frame. Grates can be locked to the support frame and come in a variety
of different styles and materials.
2. HEAVY DUTY SYSTEMS FOR ULTIMATE PERFORMANCE
SK System
An extra heavy duty system available in 4" and 12" internal widths.
The trench units have a cast-in ductile iron wearing edge rail which provides
support for the 90 ton load bearing grates. Grates can be held captive by
either four bolts or the patented "Powerlok" boltless locking system.
3. PROBLEM SOLVER DRAIN SYSTEMS
Chemical Channels
For areas requiring very high chemical resistance, channels are manufactured
from vinylester resins with inert
fillers. ACO can manufacture all the above drain systems in vinylester, along
with C100, a 4" internal width sloped vinylester polymer concrete system
with no metal wearing edge for chemical areas where no metal is advisable.
Shallow Channel
For shallow slab areas where vertical depth is limited, ACO manufactures trench
drain systems with shallow depth channels. These shallow systems have a variety
of gratings for all load requirements.
4. CATCH BASINS
ACO produces a range of catch basins manufactured from polymer concrete with steel or cast iron gratings.
5. TECHNICAL SERVICES
ACO's Technical Services will provide assistance on all aspects of trench drainage. Technical Services will advise on:
Hydraulic performance of trench and grate.
Correct trench system to withstand loadings applied.
Chemical resistance of trench drain materials.
Bill of Materials for trench layout complete with trench run drawings.
SPORTS
FIELD AND STADIUM DRAINAGE
ACO Sport products have been used at
Olympic stadiums since 1972. The diversity and cost effectiveness of the range
makes the products as ideal for local high school running tracks as they are
for Olympic stadiums.
ACO Sport products are split into easy understandable systems:
1. System 1000
A versatile 5" wide track drainage system available in either open channel with white running track de-lineating border cover, or slot channel, with the facility to attach a removable running track de-lineating border.
2. System 2000
The premier running track drainage system as used on IAF (International Athletics Federation) tracks. The system consists of straight and curved slot drainage channels with a variety of outlet sumps. Accessories include white rails to mark the border of the track.
3. System 3000
The economical, general purpose running track drain system used by colleges and schools. The system has straight and curved channels with outlet sumps.
4. System 4000
An open channel drain with removable grates. Ideal for areas around synthetic turf fields, tennis courts and general sports field use.
5. System 6000
The premier open channel drain with synthetic turf clamping devices to neatly secure the artificial turf.
6. System 7000
A series of products to fit around sand pits used for long jump and high jump. The polymer concrete curbs have cast-in rubber edging to protect athletes. the sand boxes that fit around the pits have easy to remove non-slip grates.
DRAINAGE
FOR HOME AND GARDEN
For domestic drainage
applications around the home, garden, etc.,
ACO manufactures a variety of drainage products.
1. Homedrain
"Homedrain"
is a 4" internal width, plastic channel and grate system. It is an ideal
DIY product, being lightweight and easy to install. it is available with
closing end caps and bottom outlets.
"Homedrain" is strong
enough to cope with occasional vehicular traffic, is ideal for use around
swimming pools, barbecue areas, tennis courts, and garden landscape paths.
2. Raindrain
"Raindrain"
is a 4" internal width, polymer concrete channel and galvanized steel grate
trench drain system. Its practical, robust nature makes it ideal to withstand
constant light vehicular traffic.
"Raindrain" is a complete
system including in line catch basins and closing end caps.
"Raindrain" is standard
with a stainless steel boltless locking device which makes it ideal for areas
such as garages, driveways, walkways, and decks.
3. Pointdrain
"Pointdrains"
are individual catch basins manufactured from either polymer concrete or molded
plastic. Sizes are available from 10"x10" up to
18"x18".Grates are available in a variety of materials to take
loadings of pedestrians up to light vehicles.
"Pointdrains" are ideal
single inlet drains around the home and garage.
4. Drainmat
Drainmat is a unique entrance drain which comprises of a polymer concrete body, complete with connection outlet in the base, and surface grill/mat to walk across. Drainmat comes in 3 sizes and is available with either an aluminium and rubber bar grate, an aluminum and carpet bar grate or a galvanised steel mesh grate.
CUSTOM
DRAINAGE SOLUTIONS ACO recognizes that in many applications off-the-shelf products will not
solve the user's drainage problem.
For these situations, ACO has a separate company - Aquaduct.
Aquaduct
solves drainage problems on a project basis using fiberglass, stainless steel
and other materials.
To solve these special problems, Aquaduct can:
Design and manufacture trenches of virtually any width, depth, slope or shape. The slope can be varied to account for an uneven finished grade.
Manufacture the trench from different materials, depending on the liquid being handled. Aquaduct works with many different polyester and vinyl resins, as well as various grades of stainless steel.
Provide appropriate grating in the proper material for the application.
Design and manufacture custom double contained drainage systems for areas of high sensitivity. Environmental problems can wreak havoc upon any industry. Double contained products provide an extra measure of security required by many manufacturers conscious of EPA regulations.
Design and manufacture custom sumps and catch basins. Both in conjunction with a trench drain system or stand-alone, Sumps and catch basins can be fabricated to suit any situation.

ACO actively supports conservation of
the environment. To assist in this conservation, ACO has used its design and
manufacturing technology to produce products which assist in saving amphibians
and small animals from being killed on our roads. 1. AMPHIBIAN TUNNELS
AT200 Tunnel
A monolithic, one piece polymer concrete tunnel unit in meter units. The slots
in the top allow water and air into the tunnel. Tunnel units are flat bottomed
and 8" wide. Tunnels are designed to be part of the road structure.
AT500 Tunnel
Made in two pieces of polymer concrete but bound together to make a one piece
unit, each tunnel unit is a meter long and 20" wide. Slots in the top
allow air and water into the tunnel. Tunnels are designed to be part of the
road structure.
2. AMPHIBIAN TUNNEL ENTRANCE
To complement the AT200 and AT500 tunnels, ACO manufactures a tunnel entrance which guides amphibians and animals into the tunnel. The entrance unit also provides the connection to the fencing system.
3. WILDLIFE FENCE
The unique "one way" plastic fence allows guidance of amphibians and creatures over a wide band into the tunnel.
