3 Medium Range Goals I Want To Accomplish Before I Graduate From High
School
Smart Goal #1:
S - I would like to accomplish my 40 hours of volunteer work by the end of
Summer 2007 by helping out at the Nursing Home.
M - I can write down my hours on the calendar or put it on my cell phone so I
don't forget to attend my hours.
A - Yes, it is possible to finish all my 40 hours of volunteer work by the end
of summer 2007 because I'm not busy d 19219x2316t uring the summer and I believe in myself.
R - Yes, my goal is realistic if I try my hardest to always attend my hours at
the Nursing Home.
T - I would like to finish my 40 hours of volunteer work by the end of summer
2007.
My action steps for achievement: To accomplish this goal I firstly have to go
to the Nursing Home and sign myself up. When they allow me to do volunteer work
at the Nursing Home, I will always attend my hours and be as nice as possible
to the elderly. I will make sure to tell my parents when my hours are or write
them down in my calendar so I do not forget to go. Overall, I think that this
goal will be accomplished by the end of summer 2007 because this summer I am
not busy at all.
Smart Goal #2:
S - I would like to improve my mathematics average by 5% by the end of grade
11.
M - I can write down my homework in my agenda everyday so I don't forget to do
my homework. Also, I can write down my results on math tests and quizzes in my
calendar to see if I need to improve.
A - Yes, it is possible to raise my math average by 5% if I always do my
homework, study hard, and ask for help when I don't understand something.
R - Yes, this goal is realistic because I can do it. My math mark is my lowest
mark, so if I raise it 5%, my overall average will improve too.
T - I would like to improve my math average by 5% by the end of grade 11.
My action steps taken for achievement: To accomplish this goal I will have to
work really hard. I am not very good at math and that is what makes this goal
hard. But, if I do all my homework, study hard, and ask for help when I don't
understand something, I am quite sure my math average can go up by 5%. I will
also write down my homework at all times because I tend to forget to do my math
homework. Once again, I believe I can accomplish this goal with a lot of
effort.
Smart Goal #3:
S: I would like to get Honour Rolls for all my 4 years of High School and have
this accomplished by the end of June 2009.
M - I can write down my homework in my agenda everyday and do it everyday. This
way, I will not forget to do it and will spend at least 2 - 3 hours on homework
everyday.
A - Yes, it is possible to get honours for all my years of high school if I
continue to do all my homework, study hard, and do all my work nicely and
thoroughly.
R - Yes, my goal is realistic because if I spend 2 - 3 hours on homework
everyday, that will guarantee me to understand what I am learning about and
will result me to get good grades.
T - I would like to get honours for all 4 years of my high school and have this
accomplished by the end of June 2009.
My action steps taken for achievement: To achieve this goal I will have to work
hard. Getting honours for all 4 years is not something that is easy to do. I
will have to work really hard, do all my homework, all my projects, do well on
all my tests and most of all ask for help if I don't understand something. If I
do all the things I have just mentioned, I can guarantee that I will get
honours for all 4 years of my high school life.
