Pitesti - Romania

Placed on a side of the Arges river, Pitesti town is the biggest in Arges region, and one of the most beautifull in Romania.

In the spring, te centrum is covered with lots and lots of tulips, so the Pitesti town is also called “The Tuli 343d32d p Town”. Every year, hear in Pitesti an event is held called “The Tulip Symphony”.

In the last years, the centrum of the town and not just the center, was improved with many things that changed a bit the face of the town.

The oldest stores in Pitesti is placed in the center of the town, like “Fortuna store” or “Trivale”, also, The County Museum which was modernised in the last year. There is also a big park where the people can walk and talk in peace or play ches.

A beautifull library was built in the center of Pitesti which is called “Dinicu Golescu” which was a great writer.

Near the library, the City Hall is placed, which has the same arhitecture as when it was built. A beautifull fountain is placed in the front of the City Hall, where musicians plays all the time classics, like Bethoven, Mozzart, and many others.

Near the “Fortuna Store” is located “The Culture House” where the people may watch shows inside or outside the building.

“The Alexandru Davilla” theatre is also in the center of the town and has a modern arhitecture.

The town is filled with great stores like Carrefoure, Euromall, Metro and others.

The “Nicolae Dobrin” stadium is located in Pitesti and great football teams are plaing here soccer.

Near the Arges river, the swimming pool is located and is one of the most beautifull and biggest in Romania.

The swimming pool is the same place where I practice swimming since I was 6 years old, and I am verz proud for that.

Near the city, is located a natural reservation which is called “The Natural Reservation of Trivale” and there is a zoo with many species of animals.
