Never Be Sick Again!

A man in the world is healing people without medicines or operations. He writes and talks and people are healed by reading what he has written or by listening to him and firmly believing. He is Masaharu Taniguchi, Ph.D., a Japanese. (1) He simply tells you who you are and urges you from the bottom of your heart to be your true self. When people come to believe and act accordingly, miraculous things happen:
Item: In Suma City, Japan, 1968, a woman healed of stomach cancer. (2)
Item: A woman healed in 1970 of uterus cancer, Fukushima City (2)
Item: A victim of water on the brain (hydrocephalus) and also crippled from infantile paralysis, healed in 1969, Nagaoka City (2)
Item: Improvement of a mentally retarded 7-year old child in the Omori Elementary School. (2)
Because these and an unlimited number of other healings, including more than five-hundred from cancer alone, have occurred since 1930 when people were exposed to his teaching, we asked Dr. Taniguchi to give us the key to such miracles:
Q. WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY "THE TRUTH" OR BEING YOUR "TRUE SELF"?
A. 2+2=4 is a truth. Because you know it, you can use it. But if you are an ignorant man and do not know it, you cannot benefit from it. "Behold, the kingdom of God is within you," Christ taught. (Luke 17:21) That, also, is a truth which you can use if you know it. The Buddhists knew this truth and were using it from the very beginning of their religion by sitting quietly and meditating, seeing and realizing their inner "true selves" -- their God-selves rather than their physical body selves. It is only about a hundred years now that Christianity has awakene 20320h720u d to this "truth" that Christ taught. Your inner "real" self is created by God himself. In short, we are all ''children of God." Christ emphasized this when he quoted the 82nd Psalm: "Ye are Gods... And the scripture cannot be broken" (John 10:34,35) The word "our" in His own prayer, "Our Father which art in Heaven" tells us again we are "children" of God. Being children of God, our true inner selves are free of sickness. In Seicho-No-Ie (the name of Dr. Taniguchi's movement) we believe you are misled -- or deluded -- if you think your physical body is your true or real self. If you are not aware of this truth you cannot use it in healing. For example, you may be clutched with a fear of cancer. But in Seicho-No-Ie cancer is easily cured, or, in other words, it is removed from the physical body. You see, God does not create evil. He never created anything evil such as cancer or any other disease. Diseases are non-existent in the Kingdom of God -- your inner true self. Diseases only seem to exist because of appearances on your physical body which your five senses or the words of others tell you are "diseases."
Q. WHAT THEN CAUSES THE FRIGHTENING APPEARANCES OF DISEASE ON THE PHYSICAL BODY?
A. Every thought a person has affects his physical body. This is another truth like 2+2=4. Think of a slice of lemon and your mouth waters. If you are ashamed of something, your face reddens. And if we think deluded or unGodlike thoughts which produce stressful emotions, we become sick physically. When we clear up the false thoughts by replacing them with the true thoughts which come from realizing the truth that we are children of God, the physical appearances of disease will disappear.
Q. WHAT ARE SOME OF THESE DELUDED OR FALSE THOUGHTS WHICH CAUSE DISEASES?
A. Anxiety, greed, guilt, hatred. Say your mother-in-law treats you with contempt. In time, coldness and resentment develop. Little do you realize that your hatred which you now return to her in the same measure is hurting YOU, not your mother-in-law. In fact, it is slowly destroying you, at first without your knowing it because the results take time to appear as sickness. You were misled or deluded by thinking your mother-in-law's physical appearance was her true personality treating you with hatred and contempt. What you must now change is not your mother-in-law but, rather, your own view of her. You must clearly see her not as an enemy but as the saint she truly is in God's world of Reality. Once you realize her inner true personality is perfect like yours, it is a simple matter to follow Christ's advice to "forgive 70 x 7." And your mother-in-law, recognizing your sincerity, will change her attitude toward you.
Q. CAN YOU GIVE US AN EXAMPLE OF SOMEONE WHO WAS SERIOUSLY ILL AND WAS COMPLETELY HEALED?
A. Yes. First, we make sure the person becomes at peace with everything in his daily life. When he's relaxed and so at peace, nothing whatever can hurt him. If you are hurt by someone, something or made sick by germs, these are proofs you are not friendly and your mind's waves of strife reject God's waves of love and healing. You must have complete gratitude and thoughts of love from the bottom of your heart for all things. Such gratitude is basic in Seicho-No-Ie. When one realizes that everyone has an inner God-Self it becomes easier to become grateful toward everyone. God's healing power is demonstrated in response to a patient's change from resentment to love and deep gratitude toward his parents from the following testimony authenticated by X-rays:
Mr. Rishichiro Kuribayashi of Tagawa City, Kyushu, Japan, ran a prosperous printing firm. He began to have stomach pains. In the fall of 1966, from hospital X-rays, the condition was diagnosed as cancer and too late for an operation. He could not bring himself to have faith and believe in God, but his brother introduced him to our Rev. Masami Nawada, who took a seat by the sickbed. At the latter's urging he confided the story of his life. It turned out he had been bitter and resentful toward his father. He was made to realize the importance of his parents and of gratitude toward them until Mr. Kuribayashi resolved to renounce all hatred, ill feelings, and complaint against his father. In the face of death he poured it all out. Then the minister, with the man's wife and family, recited a forceful description of the Truth that I wrote under divine inspiration over forty years ago, called the "Nectarean Shower of Holy Doctrines." Also, our minister urged him to say words of gratitude to God and his parents "at least ten-thousand times a day. Then you will be relieved of pain."
That night the patient had no pain. Beginning the next day, his wife recited the "Nectarean Shower" whenever she had time. This continued for several weeks until, on December 10th, a marvelous change took place in his body. For more than two weeks he had been given nutrition by fluidic injection, but he had not eaten any substantial food. Then, surprisingly, he evacuated a large quantity of strange matter. As he had eaten nothing, it could be interpreted that the cancerous tissues were dissolving. The patient was comfortable and happy. They continued reciting the "Nectarean Shower" with prayers of gratitude. The next day another similar evacuation. The patient then felt a strong hunger.
This change surprised his doctor who knew nothing about the change in his mental attitude. The doctor re-examined him. Thirteen X-ray photos were taken which confirmed that the cancer tissues were gone. In the spring, Mr. Kuribayashi gave his personal testimony to a large audience where I was lecturing. He was cured and had regained his former weight. Besides deep gratitude one must not forget the writing on the truth which was recited for his recovery. When it was first published, it brought miracles of healing to those who recited it or who merely read it. And it still does. It strongly proclaims the Truth that man is, in origin, a child of God who has no illness and that illness is nothing but a product of incorrect belief or delusion. By the power of Truth in the words of the "Nectarean Shower of Holy Doctrines," all delusion (including disease) is erased. This is just what Jesus taught: "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
Q. WHEN YOU SAY ILLNESS IS NOTHING BUT A PRODUCT OF DELUSION OR INCORRECT BELIEFS, HOW DOES THAT FIT IN WITH DR. HANS SELYE'S THEORY THAT STRESS IS THE CAUSE OF ALL DISEASE? (3) HIS EXTENSIVE RESEARCH EXPERIMENTS AS DIRECTOR OF MONTREAL'S INSTITUTE OF EXPERIMENTAL MEDICINE AND SURGERY HAVE HAD A PROFOUND IMPACT ON THE MEDICAL WORLD?
A. Dr. Selye named the worst stresses on the body as hatred, frustration, and anxiety. (4) And his recent advice on how to avoid stress was only four words: "Earn thy neighbor's love."(5) We find verification of his medical conclusions in countless Seicho-No-le healings: "I have often neglected my duties as a wife and have at times even been cool, but you put up with me so patiently," apologizes one wife to her husband after she realized she was a child of God. Her husband's anger was thereupon dispelled and he was cured of liver and stomach cancers. (6) From the bottom of her heart, as she lay in bed, she repented the disharmony which had existed between her and her husband. Then her uterine cancer was healed." (6) "When I gave up my own self-centered ways, and my thoughts changed to love and gratitude, my illness was cured; my surroundings changed, and I am living in a true paradise surrounded by the love of others." (6) And from a 75-year-old: "Thanks to the loving help I have received from so many, the watery, paste-like uterus has now been healed. It is a tremendously clean uterus, as if it were brand new, just as it was before. If I find a young husband, I am sure I could even have a little baby!" (6)
Q. DO YOU DEAL WITH PROBLEMS OTHER THAN ILLNESSES?
A. All of man's other problems, poverty, misfortune, and lack of peace in the world result from man's same incorrect thoughts about himself. God is abundance, not lack. Poverty results from believing in failure and lack rather than in success and plenty. The wars between nations come because man believes he sees an enemy where, in Reality, there is none. There can't be if we are all children of God. Thus, I now devote all my time to spreading the word of Seicho-No-Ie.
Q. WHAT DOES "SEICHO-NO-IE" MEAN? AND IS IT A SEPARATE RELIGION?
A. Seicho-No-Ie means the Home of Infinite Life, Wisdom, and Abundance. It is not a separate religion and will not destroy one's present faith. It will, instead, only reinforce and strengthen it. We have several hundred centers throughout Japan with branches in other countries, including the United States.
Q. HOW WOULD YOU ADVISE PEOPLE TO KEEP FROM EVER BEING SICK, OR TO GET WELL IF THEY ARE SICK?
A. If your body is sick it is because, first your thoughts have not been whole, supportive and joyful for a long time. So, number one, work on the wholeness and wellness of the thoughts in your mind, so you are full of love and gratitude. God is love and, therefore, so are you as a child of God. From the bottom of your heart make peace with, and love everyone, all creatures, and all things. Be sure to stay that way. Don't slip up. Next, stop thinking your physical body is "you." Spend time with your inner true self. Soon you will see your body become perfect. This is because realizing the Heaven within yourself will in due time make this inner perfection appear on the body just the way a reflection appears on a mirror. Continually view your inner spirit as "very good" just as God does. Positively shake free from the belief that you are material flesh and believe the truth that your real existence is spiritual. Vividly see the "God" who dwells in you. A true man is not a mortal man. He is immortal. A true man is a perfect man, an absolutely diseaseless man, a free man. Even all the best possible words of our present languages put together can hardly describe the state of perfection of the Real-man, because human languages can only describe things in the physical world. Can such a man ever exist in this world? In Reality each of you is now this Real-man, magnificent, all-illuminated, exquisite, perfect, enlightened, free, immaculate. You are a superman. Everything you need is given to you right here and now. Real happiness, real health begin at this point. Never permit yourself to judge your world through your five senses. You live in an ideal or spiritual world. When humanity wakes up to this fact, when ALL men know it, we shall see disease disappear "like mist before the rising sun."
