The History of Rome
The origin of Rome
are small villages along the river Tiber.
These villages were attacked and conquered by the Etruscans between 700 and 600
B.C. Soon it be 19319w2212t came a major city and in 509 B.C. the romans threw out the last
Etruscan king and changed the politic system to an
kind of democratize. Between 509 and 309 B.C., the city conquered almost all of
Italy,
with help of the big Roman army. After dat, they conquered almost all of Europe
and the Roman Empire got more and more power.
The Roman civilization was very developed. They had
already water pipes and they had Chariot racings and Gladiator fights. They had
big parties and the art and theater culture was also very developed. It
remained as the symbol of European civilization.
In Rome, itself there is a city, the Vatican, where the pope lives with
many other Christ's.
Today, Rome is the
capital city of Italy.
There are many tourists of all over the World who come to Rome
to see the big and beautiful rests of the Roman Empire.
