Where did the Celts come from?
Answer
The Celts, a semi-mythical group of tribes it is believed, may have come from
Morocco, entered Spain across the ice age land bridge which became the st 646r176g raits
of Gibraltar and later spread to the Basque area. There are no
longer any existing tribes but traces of swarthy, short people similar to the berbers
can be seen in North Wales and the Scottish Highlands although they are of very
distant connection and mixed with Gaelic/Norse blood.
Celts are generally accepted as originating in Scotland/Ireland
Celts did probably come across the Straits of Gibraltar and started to settel in Iberia.
St patrick makes some
reference to them in southern Ireland
it is believed. Known as the Amazigh
Celts - Basques and some southern Irish decend from
them. Possibly north welsh. But there has been so much other influence
to confuse. Such as:
The Roman invasion of Gaul and Spain
The Moorish invasion of Spain
Visigoths (Germainc,) invading Spain
and Nory Africa.
