well almost everyone must have seen the concert online or something but i was there...i'm portuguese and i just arrived home a few minutes ago. this is the best day of my life, really!
i'm just going to write my feelings from today 18518i816s s concert because the setlist and everything else you could have seen it for yourself on the tv or online.
This is the best concert ever in terms of performance...everyone was so great, the sound was comin' out great(good job tecnic ppl), and it was a really good spirit band altogheter. I think they had reharse a special thing for tonight because everything was so perfect...that i can't believe it! Axl's in great form, and the clothes change were very nice! Reminded me of old times!
Axl's voice is amazingly strong and "tuned"...he can sing whatever he likes..this is the best R&R singer ever, period! Fortus is a great performer, strong energy that brings everyone else along with him to that level. Stinson did his job with perfection, but maybe was a little atached to the same place..or maybe it's just me who didn't see him much when he moved, but anyway his mood and performance was great. Ron really amazed me because this guy owned every solo he did and added something from him also.
Brain did the best work ever I've seen of him in GNR, great! the drums solo was fantastic. Dizzy is Dizzy, he's GNR on every aspect! Was great in the piano solo and in everything...as the whole band once again. Chris Pitman is the one I can say less because his job doesn't get the same spotlight as the others, but for someone who really knows what he does knows that his very important to the final sound.
And for last.but not for least, Robin Finck! Great performance, he did played everything he did with feeling and did such a great job in every song.he's a fucking guitar god to me.say what you like. Fuckin' amazing!!! he crowd dived right where I was...touched him! Alright! for two times, first he leaned over backwards over where I was standing and then he crowd dived/surfed half a meter to my left! oh and there was this time when he climbed the steel cages(?) like a madman, awesome! Robin rocks!
Sorry for the review, I'm still a little drunk from yesterday.
PS: I was the one wearing a black bandana, and I was a little left from the middle.
