The "TV Show"

On the day following his last visit (along with Ringo) to George, Paul was interviewed in his farm by Ivo Niehe. As George left us sho 17417w2219r rtly after that, it was decided that snippets of a previously aired interview with George would open this program. This interview had taken place in George's castle about ten years ago at the time of Cloud Nine's release.
Also inserted in Paul's interview are short excerpts of two interviews with Linda, again for the same program.
As the total running time of this program was just over 50 minutes, I thought it would be
more convenient to cut it in sections. I did not dare removing the Dutch comments and old newsreels as some of you would want to have the complete show. For those of you who do not speak Dutch, I must explain that one of Paul's assistant had notified the interviewer not to make any mention of George or his illness. Apart from that the comments are what you can expect in such programs with basic biographic details directly copied from any newsroom file by someone who has very little knowledge of the artist concerned. The best example being: to illustrate some comments on George as a composer, "I got my mind Set On You" was chosen (composed by Rudy Clark).
Anyway, I thought this would be of some interest for the "interview freaks" among us.
