After Dead Kennedys broke up in 1986, East Bay Ray played guitar on an eclectic stew of projects ranging from Algerian Rai music, on the album SIDI MANSOUR, with FLEA and ROBERT FRIPP, to garage-pop with PEARL HARBOUR and exotica lounge music with FRENCHY. He composed and recorded a sound track 20320d314u for an early independent film by DAVID SEGAL and SCOTT McGHEE, who have the current noir hit THE DEEP END.
Having produced or mixed many of Dead Kennedys classic recordings, East Bay Ray continues his work in the recording studio as a producer, mixer and mastering engineer. He plays with the original band KILLER SMILES - where Nick Cave meets Ziggy Stardust on a Damned day - and the instrumental band JUMBO SHRIMP, formed by Klaus Flouride from Dead Kennedys.
