Amit Shoham is one of the founders of Tarantic Records. He has been playing music since the age of six and is proficient on keyboards, guitar, and bass. He has also had a life-long interest in music-related technology, and has dabbled in everything from designing studio components to creating computer programs that compose music. Amit first took interest in electronic dance music in 1992 when he was first introduced to San Francisco's rave scene. He began creating techno and house tracks and experimented with live, improvised ambient/downtempo sets. In 1995 Amit began collaborating with DJ Blackstone. The duo's first effort, "The Flute Song" caught the attention of Dubtribe's Sunshine and Moonbeam Jones. Dubtribe remixed the track impeccably, and released the remix on the Imperial Dub label. Blackstone and Amit launched "House of Stone Records" in November 1998, and released "Johnny Mojo's Theme," their first release under the Disciples of Johnny Mojo moniker. In 1999 they renamed the label "Tarantic Records," and have continued producing and releasing house music since.

DJ Adnan

Brazilian-born Adnan Sharif's introduction to music began with the magical Rhythm of Samba, and soulful rhythms and grooves have defined Adnan's music ever since. In 1987 Adnan immigrated to the USA and found a new home in the city of San Francisco. He has been involved in the growth of the San Francisco underground dance music scene since 1992, and began playing records in 1995. Adnan's musical styles include Deep House, Tech-House and Progresive House, and his sets are always infused with a tribal rhythm. He has played at internationally renowned clubs and parties in San Francisco and beyond, such as The Gathering, Freedom, 1015 Folsom, ComeUnity, Sunset, and many more. In February and March of 2000 Adnan toured his native country of Brazil, where he played at numerous events. In January through March of 2001 once again he was booked to tour South America, and this time he played throughout Brazil and Argentina, including the World Social Forum in Porto Alegre, Brazil, where Adnan played at an open-air festival event to a crowd of 30,000. In late 2000, Adnan began working in the studio with Tarantic Records' founder Amit Shoham, and May 2001 marked the release of Adnan and Amit's first co-production effort, "Visualize" on Tarantic Records.

It all started as child where DJ DLG was born and raised on the sounds of funk, disco, new wave and ska music. At the age of 14 DJ DLG first began his foray into music production. At the age 18 DJ DLG Began DJ'ing. Playing several gig's a month spinning both Funky, Disco and French house sets. These dj gigs are what fueled him to wish produce his own tracks.
