Lesson aims:

- To develop Ss's speaking and listening competences
- To develop Ss' ability to use language in real life situations
- To revise and reinforce vocabulary concerning parts of a room, furniture,objects and materials
- To encourage speaking and comprehension skills;

Skills:

speaking,writing,listening

Materials: textbook, worksheets, posters, cue-cards, class cassette

OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson the students will be able to:
- Use correctly the practiced vocabulary
- Use the words and phrases in real life circumstances
- Create their own situations and deal with new circumstances in a conversation

Teacher enters the classroom, greets the students, asks them how they are,

if there are any students missing.

Students salute the teacher

Checking previous knowledge

Asks to see the homework and questions the words the students have learn in the last lesson

Show their homework.

Answer the teacher questions.

Warm-up

5 minutes

Teacher remembers the task for the day: revise and reinforce vocabulary connected to furniture and objects in a room. Teacher asks the Ss to take a quick look at the picture on pg.14 in their textbooks and then close all the books. Teacher instructs the Ss to come to the blackboard and in turn to put down the words they can remember. Teacher corrects the mistakes,if any.

Ss greet the Teacher and in turn write the words on the blackboard.

Presentation

3 minutes

Teacher makes groups & gives worksheets.Teacher instructs Ss to match the pictures and the objects and complete a chart

Students pay attention

Activities & feedback

20minutes

Teacher gives Ss worksheets and instructs them to complete the text with the phrases they hear

In groups,Ss complete the text.

Assessment

5 minutes

Teacher asks the Ss to describe Spike's room as it is presented in the picture on pg.16-17 in the textbook

Students solve the exercises

Setting homework

2 minutes

Teacher tells students the homework for the next day.

Students notes on their notebooks the teacher's homework

Ending the lesson

2 minutes

Notes some students if the case, salutes and leaves the classroom.

Students salute the teacher.
