The Enhanced HP Backup and Recovery Manager for Windows
This deliverable provides a pre- install of the HP Backup and Recovery Manager for Windows Vista on any target machine.
This deliverable supports end-user and pre-install modes.
This deliverable is not compatible with Windows XP and will result in data loss if deployed.

We changed the script to block Factory restores on Encrypted drives as it was before. This is due to problems with the Safeboot driver that are not allowing us to remove the UP correctly. We are seeing the same problems on bPC and Safeboot is investigating.

This release is based on HP User Installer Full Feature Set Beta 1 with integration of unattended mode (setup.exe /s) to be used in DASH mode.
In this mode, the installation is silent until the creation of the Recovery Partition and Base Image (via RAMDISK approach), which is automatically carried out in an unattended manner via a customizable script file (cf. Example of script.ini to customize unattended mode).
By default, the unattended mode uses WIM technology for recovery image creation inside the RP. The WIM technology is also used for recovery.
