You should have downloaded one file, named "bfpeng_1.2.zip" now extract all the files in the zip to your quake3 directory under a "bfpeng" folder name (next to your quake3.exe)
Make sure u haven't got this error: "quake3\bfpeng\bfpeng" where u have 2 bfpeng folders, also u MUST make a shortcut for transformations to work.
(example of my folder names>> "c:\games\quake3\bfpeng\" )
! IMPORTANT !---HOW TO MAKE AN E-BFP SHORTCUT---! IMPORTANT !
You must start ebfp from a shortcut:
1. Make a quake 3 shortcut
2. 'right click' on your quake 3 shortcut and go to 'properties'
3. Go to the 'Shortcut' tab
4. Go to the 'target box' and after the 'quake3.exe' type
"+set fs_game bfpeng +exec vega +exec music"
(If u don't make a short cut, ebfp transformations wont work)
so to make sure it is confirmed this is my target:
C:\Games\Quake3\quake3.exe +set fs_game bfpeng +exec vega
The keys from F1- F12 are the transformation keys that have been bound to let u transform certain characters to ssj3 or oozaru form etc. Each "F" key is bound to a different character .
The other keys that u must be careful not to bind over are the arrow keys, as they are bound to different camera angles. Note that the "down arrow" is the default camera angle and should fix any camera angle problems etc.
Also F11 is no longer the screenshot key we've had to change it to the 'pause' key
Lastly, do not bind over the insert, home, pg up, pg dn, end or delete keys, as each key contains different dbz music.
Home = cells rampage,
Pageup =judgment,
Delete = vegeta's music
End = Piccolo' music
If you do bind over any of these keys there is a backup config in the bfp\cfg backup folder.
To transform you must first press the correct F key to ENABLE the transformation and then press it a second time to transform. On the character icon it has which "f "key is used for that specific character. To change back, press the same key again. Not all characters have a transformation script so check the character's icon to see if they have a F key on it! At 1 million power level some characters have another transformation, like ssj3, just press the same F key again.
If u press the wrong F key you will die, change to a new character and lose a frag! So be careful which F key u press!

There are 4 different camera angles in e-bfp, and they are bound to the arrow keys.
UP ARROW = 180 degrees (to check out the blinking eyes, moving scouter etc J)
LEFT ARROW = 90 degrees on left side of character
RIGHT ARROW = 90 degrees on right side of character
DOWN ARROW = default camera angle (any camera problems, just press this button)
These are the maps we chose for ebfp if we don't have your favourite map feel free to download it and place it in the bfpeng folder beside the other maps.

We tried to implement a saga select but due to the amount of characters in e-bfp
(even with multiple vega fix paks) we reached the bfp limit and could not do it properly. We did get the saga select working but 7 characters had to be taken out and we thought that was just too many L
So here is a toned down version:
Around each character icon is a colour and each colour corresponds to a saga.
Saiyan Saga = yellow
Freeza Saga = red
Ginyu Saga = purple
Android Saga = blue
Cell Saga = green
Buu Saga = pink
Gt/Movies = Black
We've updated most of the attacks in ebfp 1.0 to 1.2 to even out many gameplay issues. Now beam attacks are rated by tier levels. So if u have a beam attack on tier 4 it is equal/close to every other beam attack on tier 4. This eliminates choutsu's weak beam and makes krillins tier 3 beam equal to cell jnr's tier 3 beam and anyone else who has a tier 3 beam J. Gotenk's splitting headache attack has beam characteristics so u can beam struggle with it.
Lastly we've had many questions about choutsu's 'self destruct attack'. It does area effect damage and is instant kill for everyone within blast radius. To use the attack you must click once to start the attack, second click to activate the timer ( third click is to make choutsu explode before the time's up). If you touch anything you will explode and the timer goes for around 10 secs.

Hercule and Videl were taken out of ebfp cause we thought they didn't deserve to be in there. We feel they are just too CRAP .. also Master Roshi kept beating up Hercule and hitting on Videl so we had to separate themJ
