ICM v1.2 Release Notes:
** ** *********
Issues Resolved in Version 1.2
1. If the camera firmware version is earlier than 1.4, ICM will display the following message "Camera firmware is not supported by the ICM. Please upgrade t 22122g624w o revision 1.4 or later."
2. When uninstalling ICM, the text Uninstall IPIX Camera Manager has been corrected.
Outstanding Issues in Version 1.2
Limitation on setting the User Password -- For backwards compatibility with IPIX CommandView software (including the CommandView Admin) ICM 1.2 sets both the Admin Password and User Password to the same value. Beginning with Camera Firmware Revision 1.5.0.6 a new security scheme was introduced which supports separate User and Admin Passwords. (See Revision 1.5.0.6 Firmware release notes for a description of password operation). There is currently no way in the ICM to disable the User Password or set it to a different value than the Admin Password As a workaround, the User Password can be set by selecting the password link from the camera's admin web page (i.e "ip address"/admin.htm). Note that any subsequent change to the camera's password using the ICM will reset the User Password to the same value as the Admin Password.
Verifying motion detection zones using the motion tab does not work properly. To configure and verify motion detection zones, first use the ICM Motion tab to specify the zones and their control parameters (i.e. sensitivity, area, and alarm delay). Do not select "Show Motion Detected" on the ICM Motion Tab. Next, open a browser window to the camera's admin page ("ipaddress"/admin.htm) and select the "Alarms" link. Select "Show Motion Detected" on the Alarms page to verify desired operation. When finished, deselect "Show Motion Detected" on the camera's web page.

ICM v1.1 Release Notes:

Issues Resolved in Version 1.1
Lighting frequency is now being correctly written to the camera.
Camera discovery now functions correctly when application is run under a Windows XP restricted login.
Privacy zone "Apply" and "cancel" buttons now function consistently.
New corporate logo and branding guidelines.
The ICM now reads and sets the time zone from and to the camera correctly.
Outstanding Issues in Version 1.0
Maximum frame rate is set by checking the max frame rate checkbox or setting the frame rate edit box value to zero (0).
Decimal point entries in the frame rate edit box are not handled correctly. The application only sends integer values to the camera. Numbers after the decimal are ignored. For example, specifying a frame rate of 1.5 will set the frame rate to 1.
Occasionally, after selecting the Image Tab, the ICM application fails to load and stream images from the camera. The frequency of this occurrence is rare and is corrected by selecting any other tab and then reselecting the Image tab.
Images in the IPIX tab are not always updated when changes are made to the IPIX parameters. If a user changes either the X-Center or Y-Center value on the Manual Align Images screen by an amount large enough to shift the image perspective and then selects OK, the image will updated to reflect the change. If the user changes back to the original values, the IPIX tab image is not updated.
FTP IP Address, Username and Password fields can be left blank when the FTP Enabled checkbox is selected. However, the camera will not be able to perform FTP transfer of images without appropriate values set in these fields.
The ICM does not detect a successful reboot on cameras that have been reset to factory defaults. When a factory reset is performed, the camera will reboot as part of the factory reset. An error message will be displayed indicating that the camera failed to reboot correctly even though the camera did successfully reboot. The popup message will ask the user if they would like to search for all cameras. Selecting "Yes" will initiate the discovery process during which the successfully reset camera, as well as all the other cameras on the network, will be discovered.
Resizing the MAC Address or IP Address fields can cause fields in the table to go out of view for the current session. When the user increases the width of the IP Address column by performing a Left Click and Drag operation and dragging the Description field to the extreme right of the Left pane, the Description field is irretrievable. The ICM application must be exited and then restarted to reclaim the column. This issue exists for both the Description and IP Address columns.
The Camera List Description field for any given camera does not match the Network Tab Description field if the user makes a change to the Network Tab Description. Changing the content of the Network Tab Description field and applying that change will cause the camera to reboot. After the reboot completes, the Camera List Description field will be improperly updated with the content of the Camera Name field from the Network Tab. This error does not effect camera operation and is a display issue with the ICM. The correct information will be displayed if the ICM application is closed and restarted.
During a multiple camera reboot, the ICM will not recover the last camera during the current session. When the user initiates multiple camera reboots simultaneously, all cameras will successfully reboot, although the ICM will not recover the last camera. The last camera will continue to display red text and the ICM will be unable to access this camera. Exit and restart the ICM to clear this condition.
