Installation Instructions: VideoCAMworks Windows 2000 BETA Driver
IMPORTANT: This update will not work for Windows 95 and is not supported for Windows 98 or Windows Me.
*** You Must have a Kensington VideoCAM with the Windows 2000 firmware installed 616m1215g (Version 9805) to use these drivers.
You can
download the firmware update here:
How to update the
driver:
Download the file named Win2000_driver.exe
and save it on your desktop. This is a self-extracting zipped archive. Unzip
the file by double clicking it. This will automatically create a folder named C:\Kensington\VideoCAM\Driver and extract all the files
contained in that archive to that folder. To install the Kensington VideoCAM drivers perform the following steps:
When plugging in the camera it may be recognized first as a USB Device or Aox 401 Reference Camera, this is normal for this BETA release.
This process may occur two times in a row as the new firmware makes the VideoCAM a Composite device that requires two independent drivers.
Click "Finish" to complete the update.
