I.       Overview

This Version History contains all update information for each release version. You may know the differences among all versions of Acer Bio-Protection Fingerprint Solution MC3000U.

For each version, you may see different supportable sensor. This version history will show the changes in both the functional sides as well as any technical changes.

Skype v3.2 support.

FUS mode to FUS mode does not need to reboot.

FUS mode to GINA mode, AP will request to restart computer, tutorial should not show up but it is opposite behavior to restart later. The rule is the same to GINA mode to FUS mode.

Password bank incorrectly hooks to Wireless network settings in XP.

[Specification Modification] Remove the specification of the first enrolled finger is pointed to Reminder FL finger. Instead of no matter how many fingers his/her to enroll after first time wizard. The system set management will be pointed to those enrolled fingers.

In Bio protection, there are 4 sites could enroll new fingers. They are

ü         System Wizard

ü         Finger Enrollment management

ü         FL

ü         PWB+FL

Only user do finger/fingers enrollment in system wizard, AP will allocate System Set to FL on them.

[Specification modification] When user does not yet to do first time wizard, the following AP behavior will bring user to work with Bio protection.

ü         When user swipes sensor, the bio protection will bring user to do first time wizard;

ü         Click try icon will pop out first time wizard.

When running installation, if an existing version of Bio Protection is already installed, a warning message will be shown.

Fixed Password Bank and SSL website message dialog problem, which causes Authentication to pop up twice.

After System Wizard is completed, if a reboot is required, the tutorial will not run.

Fixed cross-language MSN Password Bank problem. None-English MSN will work in English OS. Supported languages:

Arabic, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian (Bokmal), Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Russian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish.

Total is 26 languages.
