xTerminator 4.2 will help you block spam and most of worms before they even reach your mailbox. You'll be able to delete unwanted messages directly from the 252c216c server thus saving valuable time and bandwidth.

• What's new in xTerminator 4.2:

• Built-in Auto Reply option
• If you decide to use some aggressive filtering methods, or use xTerminator in "Friends Only" mode, you can send pre-defined messages to senders of some of deleted messages.

• Built-in Challenge/Response System
• You can use "Auto Reply" option to send people a question that, if correctly answered, will provide them with a password so their messages will not be deleted again.

• Auto Accept Friends option
• If they know the answer to a special questions (like, what's my pets name?) your friends can add themselves to your "Friendly Content" list automatically.

• Improved Quick Learn option
• You can create "Complex" and "Auto Delete" filters from within "Quick Learn" dialog.

• Built-in Word List Builder
• "Word List Builder" is a simple utility that will help you extract words usually used by spammers within subject line of their messages.

• Added Selective Auto Delete to Manual Screening modes
• Even when you're in "Manual Screening" mode you may wish to delete some messages automatically. Now you can!

While initial release was optimized to block Sobig.F worm that caused a havoc in August and September, 2003 release 4.2 offers more flexibility to help you fight spam in general. Besides usual filtering methods, xTerminator 4.2 can work in "Friendly Content Only" modes where you can block all messages that are not recognized as a friendly content (know e-mail address or expected message content)!

Feel free to download and use the program as long as you want. You can give it to your friends too. While this particular release is optimized to fight Sobig.F worm, it can still be used as general anti spam screening tool. Also, each time some bandwidth consuming virus breaks up we will release free filter updates as soon as possible!

Here are some predefined spam filters that you can use. Please note, the filters can be added to xTerminator 3.0 or newer only! If you're using earlier version, you must download current release to be able to add filters.

• March 1, 2004. Combo blocks Bagle.E, Mydoom.F, Netsy.B, Netsky.C and Netsky.D worms: C010304.flt

This filter will delete mentioned worms from server without downloading them to your PC. Why this particular worms? Because they're widely distributed and are likely to congest most of bandwidth. This is where xTerminator can help the most taking some workload from your anti-virus application and saving your bandwidth, time and money. Foreign language messages are often invading your mailbox even if you don't understand a word about what they're trying to sell. By installing this filter package of six separated filters you will be able to block messages containing Arabic, Hebrew, Chinese (traditional and simplified), Cyrillic, Korean or Japanese characters.
