Associating a
Detail Letter Leader to the Detail View

When you create a detail view in V18 there is no letter label added to the 15315y2410p
parent view. This tip shows you how to create an associative letter label on
the parent view.
1. After
creating a detail view, open the Annotation Editor and pick the label
on the detail view. The text in the annotation editor contains attribute
information for the letter label.
2. If necessary,
remove any Scale references from the note. Click Create with Leader
and pick an origin point for the leader on the parent view. Place the note on the drawingsheet.
3. If necessary,
change the detail letter using Preferences | View Label. The
parent view label updates by selecting Drawing | Update Views
or pick the parent view note, right-click and select Update Display
from the pop-up menu.
