Assuming C:\ is your main hard drive, this is the drive you will install the software on. To install, open the CD and click on the .EXE file labled ¡°CoinDSHC_EN.exe¡± this will open the installation window. (Fig. 1-A)

on the windows start menu and type in ¡°C:\USA_Sec Ver
Use the browse button to select where the file will be located. This manual is written with the folder installed on path ¡°C:\Program Files\Unisight¡± (Fig 1-B)

After starting Windows, open the shortcut ¡°Shortcut to TCVServer¡± located on your desktop. Open the file, unlock the system with the ¡°Lock/Unlock¡± button at the bottom of the screen. The following window will be shown. (Fig. 3-1), Enter the correct login name and password needed. Once entered, click the ¡°OK¡± button and you will proceed to the main screen. (Fig. 3-2)

Channel button
On the left bottom of the main screen, there is a row of numbers with rows of dots directly below them. These are your channel buttons and indicators. The user may switch channels by clicking on the preferred channel.

To operate the Pan/Tilt/Zoom feature (PTZ) click the icon on the right labeled ¡°PTZ¡±, this will open ¡°P/T/Z & Camera Control Bar¡±, see (Figure 3-3)
P/T/Z Control: Click the arrows to move the PTZ in the respective direction. Click and hold the central button to have the PTZ revolve in a circle.
Note: If a ¡°hand¡± appears when you move the mouse over a video screen area, you can directly control the PTZ.

Auxiliary key: Use this to change your specific needs for lights, wipers, external I/O facility, and auto-tracing.
Back: After finishing set-up, use this button to return to the main screen.

Click the icon labeled ¡°E-Map¡± to open the system¡¯s electronic map. This map is used to show the channels concrete locations inside the system, and to indicate the working status through channel icons.
Application: On the
electronic map, use the mouse to click channel icon, system will automatically
show up it as the current live channel. If have set-up coupled alarm, under
alarm status, its coupled electronic map will be shown up automatically. Single
click the button Back , then get back to the system main screen. About
Set-up for electronic map, please refer to part
Common function buttons are listed on the bottom right of the main screen. They control functions used in day-to-day use. They are used as described below:
Audio
Clicking this will enable audio recording on the current channel. Click again to disable this feature.
Record
This button is used for manual recording. First select the channel for recording, click on it, then you can record on the selected channel. Click again to sop he recording. When you are recording on a channel he indicator light turns to green, when you stop, the light will turn to grey
Note: under auto or alarm record status (the channel indicator shows blue or yellow), this button is disabled.
Motion
This button is used for manual motion detection. First select the channel for motion detection, click the button, and choose your channel. The channel indicator will turn green to indicate recording. Press the button again to stop recording and change the indicator back to grey.
Notice: Once the channel is under auto detection status, (indicator is blue.), the button is disabled.
Lock
This button is used to lock the entire system. After set-up for the system, you can click the button to lock the system, nothing will be accessible except for feeds from the cameras. To restore click the button again, you will be prompted for a user name and password.
Notice: After the system is locked the user can only modify the settings within his authority.
Hide
This button will minimize the screens to the system tray, so you can attend to other matters. Double click the icon in the system tray to restore full screen status.
Alarm
This button is used for manual operation of the alarm(s). Click once to activate, click again to terminate.
Notice: Once the channel is under Auto Alarm on status the channel indicator is blue the button is disabled
When you click on the setup icon it will enter into the setup screen (Fig 3-4).

On the left of the channel list in the set-up window, you can click the desired channel by highlighting it. If you want to choose all the channels, select the box titled Apply to all
The system functions can be set-up through the system function selection group. It is comprised by 9 selection items, ¡°Camera¡± Color/Motion Schedule Alarm Alarm Schedule , ¡°PTZ¡±, ¡°Notification¡±, ¡°Advanced¡±, ¡°Environment¡±. For detailed set-up, see below.
Camera
Switch selection group to ¡°Camera¡±, refer to (Fig. 3-5). Select the channel for video set-up, (if you need to apply the same video set-up for all channels, select box ¡°Apply to all¡±), and apply items according to your needs.

Video Standard:
According to regional needs, choose a video signal type: NTSC, or PAL.
¡°Add OSD¡±: Check this item to choose a OSD display, then select where the OSD will be placed.
Video Scheme:
¡°Scheme¡± - You can choose from 3 predefined schemes to fit your needs.
¡°Compression¡± - 10 grades of compression are available, the higher the number, the lower quality of the video playback.
¡°Quality¡± - 5 grades are available, the higher the number, the higher the video quality.
¡°Frame rate (fps)¡± - 30 frame maximum, choose according to your needs.
¡°Limit bit rate¡± - To avoid the data stream from being extremely high, limit bit rate in a definite range.
¡°Video¡± - System can only compress video signals.
¡°Video/Audio¡± - System can compress a video signal and an audio signal simultaneously.
¡°VBR Enabled¡± - Variable Bit Rate enabled.
¡°Resolution¡± - Image size can be classified as four types: QCIF, CIF, 2CIF, 4CIF. You can choose it according to your actual needs. (Such as on a network transfer, you can choose a lower resolution image size.)
¡°Change on alarm¡± - Once the channel is on alarm status, the system will automatically change the video parameter according to your setup.
¡°Compress trans¡± ¨C If a network transfer is started, the video parameter will change.
Others:
¡°Signal lost alert¡± - Signal lost alert function enabled.
¡°Show preview¡± - System can show a preview image on the main screen.
¡°Memo¡± - After checking this item, start manual recording, the system will request you to input the Memo for the recording, refer to (Fig. 3-6). When you right click over the recorded data playing, the pop-up window should display the info you defined.

¡°Allow network access¡± ¨C If this item is checked, the client can be allowed to access the server within relative authority.
¡°Camera name¡± -Selecting the camera from the channel list, you can input a text description for the selected camera. The description will be displayed in the main screen of its matching video channel.

When this button is pressed, the system will pop-up the ¡°channel extend info¡± window for the current camera selected, refer to (Fig. 3-7). Enter any comments about the current camera. When pressing down ¡°Ctrl + E¡± in the main screen, or clicking the channel extend info button in the main screen, the window will appear.

¡°Disk grouping¡± - After selecting the camera from the channel list, you can distribute it into a specified disk group. The camera¡¯s recording files will be saved in the selected disk group only.
¡°Set-up¡± - Click it, It will pop-up a dialogue window for disk grouping, refer to (Fig. 3-8), the logical drive can be distributed into each of groups, and assigned a value for storing recordings in a certain day.

Color/Motion
¡°Color/Motion¡± Refer to (Fig.3-9), can be used to set-up the detecting area and video signal¡¯s parameter for the selected camera, such as brightness, contrast, hue, and saturation.

Motion detecting area setup:
First select the targeted channel, use mouse to draw out the detecting area directly on the screen. (The area can be single, or multiple.)
Switch Click the button, and you can switch among the multiple detecting areas.
Notice: the current live detecting area¡¯s border is white.
Delete - Delete the current detecting area.
Clear Delete all the detecting areas for the current channel.
Sensitivity Set the sensitivity for the current detecting area, the higher the value, the lower the sensitivity.
Notice: Bigger detecting area, the value should be smaller; Smaller detecting area, and the value can be a little bigger.
Mask area ¨C When checked, system will mask the current detecting area.
Color scheme:
You can predefine three different color schemes for different channel setup according to your needs.
Default: This button is used to return all the settings to their default settings.
Schedule
Refer to (Fig. 3-10), you can schedule for system events, such as recording, motion detecting, color scheme, video scheme and network access, etc.

Set-up instruction:
Schedule time set-up: Highlight the channel you want to set, double click the date and time selection column, you also can use mouse to select the date first, then click ¡°Modify¡±. In the following time setting dialogue box, refer to (Fig. 3-11), set time period for selected date. Single click ¡°OK¡±, the time period set will be displayed automatically in the time column.
Clear¡± - Click this button, and the system will automatically clear the current schedule time.
Standard¡± ¨C Click to select system internal schedule time in the list.
Activate schedule¡± - On check, the current schedule time setting will take effect.
¡°Holiday¡± - Click this button, you can enter into dialogue box for holiday settings, (Fig. 3-12)
Set-up instruction: Use the mouse to select the date under the date selection list, single click ¡°Add¡±, and the date will be displayed in date list.

Alarm
¡°Alarm¡± - Refer to (Fig. 3-13), the selection items are used to set-up the Alarm device.

Set-up instruction: After selecting the sensor numbers for set-up among the sensor list, then you can select its coupled video channel and alarm output among the coupled video channels list and coupled alarm output list.
Notice: Each sensor can couple with more than one video channel and alarm output. When a sensor detects an alarm signal, the system can be activated.
¡°Sensor property¡± - Click this button, and you will open the sensor property set-up dialogue box, where you can change the sensor name and add an ID description.
¡°Standard mode¡± - Click this button, and the system can link the sensors to the video channels and the outputs in one to one correspondence.
¡°Device selection¡± - Click this button, and you will enter into an I/O device set-up dialogue box, select the device according to your needs.
¡°Video associated function¡± - Click this button, and a pop-up dialogue box will appear, select the pre-set position under the list, once system detects any alarm signals, it will automatically move cameras to the defined points. When you check ¡°Enable alarm snapshot¡±, the system will capture the current picture at the same time.
¡°Output property¡± - Click this button, and you can enter into the output property set-up dialogue box, the sensor name description.
Alarm schedule
¡°Alarm schedule¡± - on this selection, you can set-up the schedule for the alarm(s). For detailed operation, please refer to 3.1.6.3 System function selection group---Schedule.
PTZ
¡°PTZ¡± - Refer to (Fig 3-14), on this selection, can set-up Pan/Tilt/Zoom controller connected with the system.

PTZ Setup
After selecting the channel for setup, click ¡°Load¡± this
will take you to the ¡°Predefined PTZ ctrl code¡± dialogue box (Fig. 3-15),
select the needed protocol. Set actual address index numbers from the list box.

Keyboard setup
From keyboard select list box choose your device, and set the relative communication port.
Notification
Notification refer to (Fig. 3-17), on this selection, can set phone call number and its working mode.

Wireless short message setup
Click ¡°Communication port¡± and select system communication
ports, then in block ¡°
¡°Enable SMS¡± - When checked, if the system detects alarm signals, it will automatically send the short message to its defined mobile phone.
Wire dial setup
For this setup, it is same with that of the SMS setup, refer to above.
¡°Enable PSTN¡± - On check, when the system detects alarm signals, the system can automatically dial a predefined phone number.

8. Advanced
¡°Advanced¡± Refer to (Fig. 3-19) on this selection, includes set-up for system recording, alarm and motion detection.

Recording Set-up:
¡°Single file recording time¡± - You can select save time for a single record file among the list box.
¡°Disk number¡± - You can define the actual disk number of the system. If the number is zero, the program will not check actual active disk number. If the defined number is not the same with the actual number, the system will start an alarm alert.
¡°Channel number¡± - You can define the actual video channel number of the system. If the number is zero, the program will not check actual active video channel number. If the defined number is not the same with the actual number, the system will start an alarm alert.
¡°Minimal disk space¡± - When the free space of the disk is lower than that of the defined volume, the system will automatically switch from the current disk to another one.
¡°Auto overwrite¡± - Once checked, when all the disks are fully written, the system will overwrite those earlier files.
¡°Disk switch alert¡± - Once checked, system will display an alarm dialogue box during disk switching.
Alarm and motion detect set-up:
¡°Enable voice alarm¡± - When checked, once motion is detected, the system gives out a voice alarm.
¡°Show local alarm light¡± - When checked, if motion is dectected , the local alarm light will automatically pop-up.
¡°Show motion area¡± - When checked, the system will display motion detection area on the preview area.
¡°Single screen preview¡± ¨C When checked, once an alarm signal is detected, the system will have the video channel alarm display on a single screen.
¡°Alarm recording¡± ¨C When checked, if motion or an alarm is detected, then the system will start motion detection or alarm recording.
¡°Popup E-map¡± ¨C When checked, if motion is dectected, the system electronic map will automatically pop-up.
¡°Enable motion log¡± - When checked, the system will automatically load all motion detection events into the system log.
¡°Error/Motion output trigger¡± - When checked, once motion or error is detected, the coupled output devices will take effect.
¡°Recording duration¡± ¨C After an alarm or motion detection event misses, the alarm recording or motion recording will continue during the time you defined.
¡°Pre-alarm recording¡± - Before an alarm or motion detection event arise, the system can pre-record 1-30 seconds of data. You can define the pre-record time.
¡°Alarm duration¡± - Set system alarm devices length of response time.
¡°Snapshot delay¡± - Set Snapshot delay time.
Others
¡°Audio preview¡± ¨C Activates the audio preview.
¡°Status info¡± - When checked, the status information of video channel will be displayed on video channel preview image.
¡°Messenger service¡± ¨C Used for starting the system messenger service.
¡°High-Quality playback¡± - Enable the recording data to be played on high quality.
¡°Snapshot path¡± -Set the path which snapshots are saved on.
¡°Matrix¡± - Select a type of matrix device.
¡°Watch-dog¡± - Select a type of watch-dog device, which has the function to restart the system if the system halts. Some devices need to be set for a COM port.
¡°Voice chat¡± - Start voice chat function.
¡°Text chat¡± - Start text chat function.
Environment
¡°Environment¡± - Refer to (Fig. 3-20), can setup the system running environment.

System startup
¡°Auto administrator login when Windows is started¡±-For automated login, check the administrator name and password and click ¡°OK¡±. Once the computer starts, the administrator can auto-login to the DVR system.
¡°Auto startup this program¡± ¨C When you switch on the computer, Windows will start, and the program will auto-run.
¡°Auto reindex recording files¡± ¨C When the program auto-runs, it will update the recording files automatically.
Environment setup
¡°Enable client connection¡± - The server can be used as a net server.
¡°Address book¡± - Use this button to show a dialogue box that allows you to add IP addresses and descriptions belong to the clients who can access to the net server.
¡°Network ports¡± - Use this button to show a dialogue box (Fig. 3-21) setting a series of port numbers according to needs.
¡°Adjust clock¡± - Adjust the current system time.
¡°Log info keeping period¡± - Can set how many days log info is saved on a disk.
¡°Auto restart¡± - When checked, system will be restarted on the set time.
¡°Auto shutdown¡± - When checked, system will be shutdown on the set time.
¡°Auto start¡± ¨C When checked, system will be start on the set time.
¡°Power off when shutdown¡± - As to ATX power unit, When checked, upon computer shutdown, the power can be switched off also.
¡°Enable local web server¡± - Start local web server, so clients can access the net server by internet explorer.
¡°Limit each client user accessing from one IP address simultaneously¡± - Limit each client user access to net server only from one IP address.
Single click ¡°Log¡±, the log viewer window will appear, refer to (Fig. 3-22), with this you can view the system log. The Log viewer window includes items such as Menu, Tools, and System log Information.
Menu
Menu includes File, View, Tools.
File
Open: open saved log file.
Save as: log file can be saved in assigned location.
Exit: exit log viewer window.
View
The content on the list executes some view operations.
Tools
Clear log files: Clears the current log files.

Use the list box ¡°Type¡± and ¡°Username¡± in the left bottom of the window to filter log information, the log information will be shown on the list in the right of the window.
Click button User¡°, a user management window will appear, refer to (Fig. 3-23), you can run system user set-up and management. The user management windows include Menu, Tool and User information.
Menu
The Menu bar includes File, View, Tools. Use mouse to click each group can pop-up a sub-menu. For each items function, see the following:
File
¡°Save¡±: Save user information after changes occurs. Every change on the user
information must be saved after operation.
¡°Exit¡±: Close system user management window, return back to upper layer window.
View
Provide Large icon, Small icon, List and Report four view modes for user
information shown.
¡°Refresh¡± : Refresh user information.

Tools
¡°New¡¡±: Add new system users, refer to (Fig. 3-24), input new user¡¯s log-in name, password, description, and assign relative authority.
Click ¡°OK¡±, and save the new change.
When checked, ¡°Disabled this user¡±, the user can not log into the system.

¡°Authority¡± - Click this button to show the dialogue box for authority set-up, were authority rights can be set for users, refer to (Fig. 3-25)

¡°System shutdown¡± - When checked, user has right to shutdown the system.
¡°Back to Windows¡± - When checked, user has right to enter into windows; If no check, user can not shutdown the system and only switch off the computer directly.
¡°Schedule¡± - When checked, user has right to finish set-up for the system schedule.
¡°Video/Color/Motion¡± - When checked, user has right to finish video scheme, color scheme and motion detection set-up.
¡°Advanced setting¡± - When checked, user has right to finish set-up of each functions in advanced item.
¡°Playback¡± - When checked, user has right to enter into video playback system.
¡°P/T/Z control¡± - When checked, user has right to control P/T/Z.
¡°Browse log¡± - When checked, user has right to browse log.
¡°Manual motion activation/deactivation¡± - When checked, user has right to enable or disable manual motion detecting function.
¡°Manual alarm activation/deactivation¡± - When checked, user has right to enable or disable manual alarm function.
¡°Manually start/stop recording¡± - When checked, user has right to start or stop recording function manually.
¡°Minimize¡±On check, can change system work into back curtain mode.
¡°Backup/Snapshot¡± - When checked, user has right for data backup and capturing pictures.
¡°Network access¡± - When checked, user has right to access to network by client terminal.
¡°View map¡± - When checked, user has right to view the system map.
¡°Adjust video parameters¡± - When checked, user has right to adjust video parameters, such as brightness, hue, contrast etc.
¡°Delete¡±: Click on this item, can delete the current user highlighted.
¡°Modify¡±: Click on this item, ¡°Modify user info¡± dialogue box pop-up, refer to Fig. 3-26, you can modify the info of user before this.

Click E-Map to open the set-up window for the electronic map, refer to (Fig. 3-27), the user can finish set-up for the electronic map system used.
Set-up instruction: Click button Set-up¡±, the map contents set-up window will appear, refer to (Fig. 3-28), on the map list table choose map number, and input its matching path in the text input box, then you can open the matching map. On the cameras list to select camera number, also, select its matching sensor and alarm device. Close the map contents set-up window, on the open Map window, use the mouse to drag the camera icon, sensor icon and alarm icon to their matching position.

In order to make it easy for users to operate the system, the system has set some extra operations. Users can press the system function key to enter into the extra operation systems. The following will be concrete operations:
Press key F1 (can also single click button ), to open the system extra function panel, refer to (Fig 3-29)

¡°Turn off alarm¡± ¨C Click to stop system¡¯s alarm responding.
¡°Audio¡± ¨C User can click to close/ startup system audio function.
¡°Pause E-Map¡± ¨C Clicking button can pause to using E-Map.
¡°Hide¡± ¨C Click to allow the system to be minimized into motion icon on the system tray.
¡°Cancel¡± ¨C Click to close this system extra-function panel.
¡°Function index¡± ¨C User may access this index for definitions from system.
Press the F2 key to enable snapshot function.
Press the F3 key to enter the image browser window, refer to (Fig. 3-30), the user can use this window to browser image files. In the window, the images can be zoomed in or out. Also the image information can be backed-up, or printed. Before printing, the printing parameters can be set.

Press the F4 key to open the P/T/Z preset position set-up window, refer to (Fig. 3-31).
Setting up the P/T/Z preset position: After the P/T/Z camera is connected with the channel, press the F4 key to open the P/T/Z preset position window. Click Setting then the current position can be defined as a preset position.

¡°Option¡± ¨C Use the mouse to select a P/T/Z preset position, click this button to open the P/T/Z pre-points set-up window, refer to (Fig. 3-32).
¡°Act as a cruise point¡± - When checked the user can set the preset position as a cruise point.
¡°Staying time¡± - Used to set staying time for speed dome on pre-set points.
¡°Description¡± ¨C Used for Input description text for the preset position.

¡°Locate¡± - After selecting the preset position, click this button, and the speed dome can move to the selected preset position.
¡°Cruise¡± - Click this button, and the speed dome can automatically move in different preset cruise positions.
Press the F5 key and the user will enter into the text chat-room, refer to (Fig. 3-33).

¡°Setting¡± ¨C Click the button ¡°Setting¡± so that the user can enter into the chat server set-up dialogue box, refer to (Fig.3-34)
Set-up instruction: First use the mouse to select the server number, on IP address and description type the corresponding content, and save it. You can define the name in the text box. Click ¡°Color¡± to choose the color of the text.

¡°Hide¡± - Click this button to hide the chat room.
¡°Clear all¡± - Click this button, and the user will clear the text chatting recording.
Pressing the F6 key will enter into volume control panel, refer to (Fig 3-35).

Press F8, and the user can open the motion to matrix switch control window, refer to (Fig 3-36), on the window the user can go on to switch set-up for the matrix connected to the system.
Set-up: On the video wall output list, select your display area on the video wall. In the video input block, choose its matching monitoring points for display.
Set-up for sequential multiple monitoring points in single display area: On the video wall output list, choose the display area for the video wall, Check ¡°Enable auto switch¡± in the video inputs list, then choose its matching monitoring points, click ¡°Option¡± and open the matrix control information window, (fig 3-37), on this window open ¡°Relation to TV wall¡±, input the switching time, and describe the monitoring points. Click ¡°OK¡± and you will return back to the upper window. You can repeat the above operations, coupling multiple monitoring points with a single display area, when finished click ¡°OK¡±. The display area will auto sequentially display monitoring points according to their setting time.

Press F9 to refresh the remote alarm info.
Press F11 to enter into the video parameters adjust panel, you can adjust brightness, contrast, hue and saturation.
Press F12 to open the remote connection control window, refer to (Fig 3-38), it is used for the remote connection control of the system.
Control instruction: After selecting the channel, press F12 to open the remote connection control window. On the remote connection list, use the mouse to select the server serial number. Then click ¡°Setting¡±, on the open window select ¡°Connection info¡±, refer to (Fig. 3-39), input the machine¡¯s IP address ( or URL ) for remote connection, click ¡°OK¡± and return back to the upper window, on the remote connection list , the connected addresses and server¡¯s descriptions can be found. Use the mouse to select the server¡¯s serial number and its targeting channel on the remote connection list and its channel list separately, Click ¡°Connect¡± and the System will automatically send out a command for connection. Once the remote connection succeeds every connection will be shown in the window.
¡°Record when being connected¡± - If checked, once the remote client terminal successfully connects with a server, recording can be started simultaneously.

Full screen display button:
When this button is clicked the current info will be displayed on the full screen; Right-clicking on this screen will return you to the other window.
Video preview auto switching button:
With this button the user can set system switching time on the channel auto-switching interval dialogue block, refer to. Click ¡°start/stop¡± to start and stop respectively.
Screen reset button:
Resets screen modes.
Time indicator: Display current date and time.
CPU rate: Displays CPU efficiency.
Network link: Display client terminal preview channel numbers.

Disk number indicator: Use
square blocks to indicate installed disk (except Disk C.). Green block
represents the current disk.
Current disk: Indicates the current working disk.
Disk space: Indicates free space volume of the current machine, with unit as MB.

For playback files, can select the following two methods to search:
Method 1:
On the playback system main screen, select the frame in the main window to designate where the recording will play, then use the mouse and the calendar to select the recording date. Then with the table at the bottom of the screen select the camera and the exact hour and minute you would like to see played back.
See Figure 1-C. The calendar is circled in red; this is where you will choose the date you would like to see. A date that is highlighted in red means that there is camera footage recorded on that date. You can view the footage by selecting the date/time/camera. The camera selection is at the bottom left hand corner, circled in yellow, this is where you choose the camera you wish to view at the date and time.

To adjust the hour and minute that you would like to play back, refer to Fig 1-D, the bar highlighted in red is the minute bar, where you choose the minute block that you will be viewing, the table highlighted in blue is the hour bar, to select a specific hour to view, combined with the yellow highlighted camera viewer in Fig 1-C you can use the table and select the camera, the hour and the minute you would like to playback.

To tell if there is footage in a
certain hour or minute, look at the hour or minute block that you wish to
select, it will have a number and a specific color, depending on how full of
recording it is. For example if a hour block is very dark blue and has the
number ¡°
Method 2:
Click the tab ¡°File lists¡±, right above the calender list. Then in the tab menu, select the date of the file you would like played, and then the time in the corresponding lists, remember to choose the panel you want to view the recording in the main screen.
To use multi-play, first select the date on the calender you wish to review, then check the box that says ¡°All Cameras¡± Then you can select each individual camera, when selected the cameras button will turn green. After selecting all the cameras and their timeframes, click the button ¡°multiplay¡± to begin the playback of all selected channels. See Fig 2-A

After selecting one or more files, click ¡°Backup¡±, enter the files into the backup manager dialogue box, refer to (Fig. 3-46), to select backup path, rename default name by system according to your needs, then click ¡°Ok¡± to finish.

Clicking the button ¡°Mute¡± will set playback on Mute status. Click the icon again, to recover its normal volume.
Click ¡°Snapshot¡± to capture the current display image, refer to (fig. 3-47), and the image can be saved in a defined path.

Save images: Click the save button on the video image capture window, use the following dialogue box to input the path for image saved.
Click ¡°File¡± to search files for playback. For detailed operation, please refer to part 3.2.3 Search file for playback .

- Upper switch: Change the current play file to the former one.
- Backward: Play file backward.
- Stop: Stop playing.
- Play: Play file.
- Pause: Pause file. (Press ¡°Play¡± to resume.)
- Single step: Plays one frame on click.
- Forward: Forwards through file at higher speed.
Down switch: Jump to the next file.
File segment clip: When playing file, click this button to select the starting time for the targeted segment file. Second click the button to define the end time. Also choose the path to save the segment file.
Play progress bar: On the above of the play function keys, there is a silver play bar, use the mouse to drag the block to locate the play point from left to right.
On the right side of the playback screen there is a gray control panel, refer to above here, for detailed operation, see below:
Remote/SYNC playback: Use this button to open the remote playback dialog box refer to 3.2.12. Remote Playback
Backup File/Remote download: Use this button to open the backup file manager where you can save selected clips to a selected drive,
Snapshot: Use this button to take a snapshot of the realtime screen, it will show you the picture and ask you to save it to a path of your choice.
Manual File Selection: Used for playing back files where the user chooses a file not in the DVR databases.
Browse and Print image file: Use this button to view snapshots you have taken and saved, you can also print them from this menu.
Click the remote playback button, next to the selection buttons for number of screens to show the dialogue box for remote playback, refer to (Fig. 3-49), select the server, user name, and the password needed for remote playback, then click ¡°OK¡±, return back to the video playback main screen. On this screen, refer to 3.2.3.Search file for playback, and select the file for playback.
Notice: For remote playback, only one file can be selected for playback at one time.

Server set-up instruction: ¡°Setup¡±, to enter the dialogue box for remote playback, refer to (Fig. 3-50), use the mouse to select the server serial number, input address and its description on the text block, then save it.
