From the RCS main menu select menu option 8 "Reports:
You will see a list of predefined reports. Scroll down to a blank line and touch the F4 key. This will open the Report format menu. Start with Option 5 "Parameters/Name". Computer Concepts recommends naming the file "X:\direct 656l1116g ory\Selector.dat" substituting your actual mapped server drive letter and path for X and directory. This will serve as a visual reminder for where to send the report when later required from the RCS print manager.
The rest of the parameters should be set accordingly:

this sort order is blank

By default All categories/levels should be set to yes. This insures that ANYTHING that is in your Selector database, whether in regular rotation or not, if there is a cart in the Maestro cart library will read the appropriate data.
Because of the way RCS handles printing to a file the following steps, while cumbersome, are necessary to insure that printer code is not exported with the file, rendering it useless to Maestro.
From the Main RCS Menu, select Option 8 "Reports"
Locate the Maestro Data report you just created
Place an * in the "Input" field to export all song data
Press F9 to Send File
When the "Print Options" menu pops up, select item 7 "Change Printer"
Make note of your current printer then select option 3 "ASCII"
You are automatically returned to the Print Options Menu
Select Option 2 "Send to File"
Selector will generate the report and advise you when it is complete and sent to Print File manager
Press F9 again and the Print Options Menu appears again.
Select Option 7 "Change Printer" and reset the printer to your default printer
You are then returned to the Pinter Options Menu
Select Item 6 "Jump to Print File Manager"
From here, you should see the report you just generated at the top of the list.
Press F4 to copy the file to Maestro
If you named the report as suggested at the top of the document, you merely need to type in the name you see at the top of the Print File Manager Screen and the report will be sent to Maestro
