l Install Modem
Open 'Start' ->Settings->Control Panel
Open 'Start' ->Settings->Control Panel
3. A location information window will pop out. Please select country/region , area code and fill what your information is.
Select 'Modems'->Add
Choose 'don't detect my modem' item
Choose 'Siemens' Manufacture and 'Siemens GPRS PHONE' of Models. And then press 'NEXT'
Choose Com port depending on where you install the Siemens modem driver
Choose the Yes for Digital signature.
Finish the installation
l New Connection
1. Create new connection, choose 'Line' -> 'New'
2. Choose 'Operator Name/Internet Setting'
3. Choose 'Dial-up to private network ',press 'Next'
4. If user utilize GPRS to internet, please key in '*99#' at Phone number . Press 'Next'
5. Set 'For all users', press 'Next'
6. Key in connection name what user wants. Press 'Finish'
7. According to different operator requirement, user can need to add Access Point Name, User ID, User Password. And then user can choose 'save' or 'connect'. If user chooses 'connect', please remove your ADSL/LAN line out.
