-should enjoy speaking about The Union Jack
-should feel more confident about expressing their own thoughts in English

-should enjoy learning new words;
-should fell more confident about expressing their own thoughts in English.

Informal conversation between the teacher and the pupils. Did you do your homework? Who wants to read / to go to the blackboard? The teacher asks the pupils some words about what they learned. The teacher introduces the new words for furniture showing posters from their book. The teacher asks pupils to look in the picture of the house and find the item in the picture. The teacher uses the box to make statements with prepositions. Put a doll or a teddy (or others object) on the box and say: "It's on the box. Continue with in, next to, under the box. The teacher asks pupils to look at the pictures and read the words below. Then asks them to make sentences like the example in the speech bubble. E.g.: The cat is under the table. The teacher presents and explains the homework (to copy and translate the exercise on page 42). The teacher marks the pupils with grades and makes notes about their activity. Praises those who were active. |
