You may want to move objects so that their tops, bottoms, sides, or centers are in alignment. You may also want to move objects so they are distributed equally. FreeHand gives you several ways to align and distribute objects.
To align using the 11311i816l Align menu:
Select the objects you want to align.
Choose one of the following from the Modify > Align menu:
o Top aligns the objects along the top edge of their bounding boxes.
o Bottom aligns the objects along the bottom edge of their bounding box.
o Center Horizontal aligns the objects along the horizontal center of their bounding boxes.
o Center Vertical aligns the objects along the vertical center of their bounding boxes.
o Left aligns the objects along the left edge of their bounding boxes.
o Right aligns the objects along the right edge of their bounding boxes.
To align using the 11311i816l Align panel:
Select the objects you want to align.
In the Align panel, use the Horizontal menu to set the horizontal alignment of the objects
or
Use the Vertical menu to set the vertical alignment of the objects.
or
Click inside the Alignment graphic controller to choose an alignment setting
Click the Align to page option if you want the objects to align to the page.
Click the Align button to move the objects into position.
To distributes objects using the Align panel:
Select the objects you want to distribute.
In the Align panel, use the Horizontal menu to set the horizontal distribution of the objects.
or
Use the Vertical menu to set the vertical distribution of the objects.
TIP
You can use a combination of the align commands and the distributes commands at once.
