If you are dealing with long amounts of text, you may need to use FreeHand's Find Text dialog box.
To use the Find Text dialog box:
Place your insertion point in 313m1215d the text block, or select the text block or path.
Choose Edit > Find & Replace > Text to open the Find Text dialog box
In the Find field, type the text string you want to search for. In the Change to field, type the text string you want as a replacement.
To search for only the word listed, click the Whole word box. If you want to search for the text exactly as typed in uppercase and lowercase, click Match case.
Click to open the Special pop-up menus . This lets you insert the codes for the special characters into the Find and Change fields.
TIP
If you know the codes, you can type or paste them directly into the fields.
Click the Find First button to find the first instance of the text string.
Click Change to change the text
or
Click the Find Next button to find the next instance of the text string.
or
Click Change All to change all occurrences of the text string.
TIP
To see the text currently being searched by the Find Text dialog box, click Show selection.
